Cool deep brown is a dark, cool, rich brown tone without any red components. It also covers gray hair very well. Since it contains a high ash content, gray hair may have a slight green tint. This disappears after a maximum of 48 hours for the color to take effect or after the first hair wash after coloring, so don't worry, it can happen, but it doesn't have to.
